Equipping future educators with the knowledge and skills for effective primary school teaching
The Diploma in Primary Education is a three-year program designed to prepare competent teachers for primary schools. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical teaching skills to produce well-rounded educators capable of handling the Zambian primary school curriculum. Graduates of this program will be equipped to teach all subjects in the primary school curriculum with special emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and integrated science. The program includes teaching practice sessions in partner schools to give students hands-on experience. This qualification is recognized by the Teaching Council of Zambia and graduates are eligible for registration as professional teachers upon completion.
